Laura - I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Jay was a great mentor to me, and I will always remember him fondly. My best to you and your family.

I grew up with Jay many years ago, played on the same Forest Park baseball team, always enjoyed his wit and sense of humor; my sympathy to his family.

Dear Posnik family,

Jay and I went to school together from kindergarten through Classical '52, and we we always sat near each other so that we could whisper and laugh. His passing is a sad reminder that even bright funny guys with wavy hair cannot last forever. May his memory be for a blessing.
