If you know the store, then you knew him. He was the tall man w/ the mustache, the one who knew your kids, knew your medium, knew your way of looking at things. He knew way more about servanthood than he did about art. He loved his store and we loved him

Jay was always a good guy to me and I appreciated his demeanor and his good humor. I was thinking about Jay and went looking for him on Facebook when I found out. Every moment is transitory and to be deeply felt. Jay left me with many moments to remember. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

I was saddened to hear about Jay. He and I were business acquaintances but with Jay it was more than just business, we were also friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Jay's family.
