Although we lost touch over time, I remember Jay as the kindest and most patient man I've ever known. He always wore a smile, and his laugh exuded warmth and optimism even amidst challenges. He went out of his way to help me when I was a young missionary in Africa. My wife Marge and I will always remember Jay and Patsy as dear friends. Jay stands tall among the greatest.
