As your former teacher, I well remember your dad, a terrific fellow with a great sense of humor, who was always so supportive and proud of you. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Sherlach family.

To the Sherlock family. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Mr. Sherlock very well. The one thing I did know is that he was a very loving father. May he rest in peace.

Loved Mr. Sherlach like a father. Both he and Mrs. Sherlach were such a positive influence in my life. I have many fond memories of times spent at their home. They will always be in my heart and in my prayers.

Jay was a great person and someone I feel honored to call a friend. He was my principal at Greenvale school for years and a there was a great loss when he left. I will always remember him with the fondest of memories. I'm sure he is very happy to be with his sweet Pat.

A great friend and a mentor to me ,,working with Jay at pawling schools was one of my greatest life experiences ,,each day as he entered the building he called out for me , i would sit with him for 20 mins and we talked about everything ,,,he was always joking and had me laughing all the time ,,we stayed close for many years after i moved on and he will always have a special place in my heart ,,i will miss him very much
