Not sure what to say?

As I am deeply sadden by the loss of Mr. Sload I am just as sadden for Bev and the family who he loved dearly... He was someone I will always remember as ......could maneuvere his big car in and out of there small driveway eith no problem...who picked up every leaf or those stupid things that fell from the tree's.. He never stopped. He adored Bev so much as she did him.... He called me dear, and made sure I took a Arnold palmer before I left.. Sincerely, Meg P.s. the Tuesday before...

Jay was one of my most favorite people in the Cleveland investment community. Over the years we worked together, did business working for different firms and found time to have lunch once in awhile. He will be missed by many.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Thank you for your very brave service to our country ! Gods bless you

Bev & Sload family, Barbara and I were stunned to hear of Jay´s passing. First thoughts: great fun, always active, extremely loyal, joke raconteur, best Christmas parties, friend to all, and kind to all. I´ll miss his trips to Naples to visit Bev on vacation. I hope his life well- lived will be an example for all the Sload clan. We miss him already. Doug & Barbara

Dear Bev and family, our hearts are heavy with grief for the loss of a dear friend. Jay was our movie previewer and organizer. You could always count on a bag of special chocolates prior to the movie. I will always smile when I think of Jay and his jokes. Jay could tell jokes like no other and be able to sit and laugh harder than anyone. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. Marie Saul

Jay will always have a special place in our hearts. He enriched our lives with his friendship and humor. Jay appeared on many doorsteps with his famous meatloaf or a loaf of Davis Bakery rye bread and pastrami. Christmas and the Superbowl will be less this year with the loss of our dear friend. God bless, Jay. Michael Cannon
