Not sure what to say?

Used to listen to Jay on Big Ways Charlotte radio in 1970s. Very entertaining. Enjoyed his line ranger story yearly.

I´m watching "The Haunting of..." and this episode featured Jay Thomas. I realized I haven´t seen in act in anything and decided to look him up. I found out he passed, and before even knowing what from I had the sensation of something in the throat. As I kept researching, I recovered the cause was throat cancer. That blew my mind. I can´t believe he is gone. He died the same age as my Mom. Rest in peace and my condolences to the family.

I really enjoyed the David Letterman appearances and how Dave just ate it up. Genuine, funny - I rare talent - your missed... The Lone Ranger needs a ride to the Red Carpet Inn.. Rest in Peace ....

It’s almost three years since jay Thomas passed away, I can still hear his voice on the radio,
This is the Thomas show, on 99x and Wktu radio. I really feel he was at his best during that
Time, stupid news, crazy sound effects,q his weatherman was named flash floods, sports
Was reported by Charlie Steiner, Public appearances, and my favorite His calls to the
Amazing needlebaum! The last time I was with him was at the javitz center for the ny auto
Show, I will never...

Thank you Jay for all the years you gave to your legion of fans. We miss your smile and the thoughtful humor you provided us.

i met jay in new orleans at a August restaurant. we were in a small room with 3 tables. jay and his wife, my fried and i and a table full of 8 or so EPA attorneys. By the end of the night, we were all congregated in the middle of the room telling jokes and stories of law, sales and american television. i had so much fun - he was a part of it and i'm glad i met him - if only for a brief moment in time.

My condolences to Jay's family, so sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Jay and guide us all in kindness from above. Thanks for the smiles, you are certainly a natural, like no other!
