Not sure what to say?

Can you believe how beautiful your granddaughters are. They would have adored you. Keep an eye on them. Karissa graduated nursing school as you know. We all miss you very much

Jay, it is going to be a long long time before I can begin to live life without feeling deeply saddened by your untimely death. What is holding me together is the countless fond memories that I have with, and of you. Our bond together was so very special and as you know, it was fast approaching our eighth year (July 31 ) since we first met at Horseneck Beach. I will never forget that day. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. My life is so much richer because of you. I don't think...

Dear Family of Jay Thorpe,
We were saddened to learn of Jay's death. We are The Compassionate Friends of Providence, a support group to help families---parents, grandparents and siblings --- with the death of a child. If you would like to get in touch with us, we can be reached at: [email protected].
My son Cameron was killed in an auto accident thirteen years ago and this wonderful group has helped me immeasurably.
We are thinking of you and send
our most heartfelt...

Dear Jim, Ellie & family,
We just returned last night from a trip to Europe. We were shocked and so saddened to hear about your loss of Jay. Brenda & I ran into him at the doctor's office this past January. Hadnen't seen him in years but immediately recognized that smile of his. Be assured of our heartfelt thoughts and prayers as Jay is already rejoicing with your other angels in heaven. Much love and peace to you all.

So sorry for your loss, Jay was a beautiful soul.
ECK friends,

Beverly and Gertrude

Jay and I worked together at The Quill Company for several years, he came in everyday with a smile and left the same way, never had a bad word to say about anyone!! My heart goes out to the Family.

It's hard to imagine that someone who was so full of life is now gone. Jay had a wonderful spirit, and we shared countless good times together. He meant a lot to me, as well as a lot of other people; I don't think he realized how many lives he had touched. To Karissa, the Thorpe family, Auntie Reggie and everyone else so deeply affected by this loss, I am so, so sorry... I hope that time helps you through this. Jay, I will never forget you or all the times you were there for me,...

My sympathy to Jay's family, he was a wonderful and caring person. We used to have long talks when we were in high school and then again many years later. He was a special person who always wanted to listen and help even when he was in need. Rest my friend.

Jim, Ellie and Family:
Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Jay. Our love and prayers are with you.
