Dr. Jayetta L. Slawson

I was one of Jayetta´s colleagues at SLU for many years. She was a wonderful, brilliant teacher. She became a member of the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project (Slwp) under my direction, and I was proud to have her as part of our select group. I thought her to be a fine teacher and one of my best and most dependable colleagues. She´ll be missed by many, including me. -RL
