Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. I was Jaleek’s first grade teacher . One special memory I have is of Jaylen dropping Jaleek off at the classroom door every morning before heading to his hallway for class. Every morning he greeted me with a “Good morning, Ms. Havrun and a farewell to his little brother ( who wasn’t always excited about coming to class) .
