Jaymie Marie Cornish

*JAYMIE MARIE CORNISH* age 37 of Three Rivers, Michigan a very beautiful, caring and giving young lady passed away Saturday evening November 15, 2008 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers, Michigan following a hard fought battle with brain cancer.

She was born December 5, 1970 in Coldwater, Michigan a daughter to Harold & Eula (Dodson) Cornish.

Jaymie had resided most of her life in the Sturgis and Three Rivers area with the exception of the eight years she and her family lived in Florida. She attended Sturgis and Centreville Public Schools and graduated from Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida with the class of 1989.

Her last employment was as a waitress at Logan’s Road House in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She had also worked at Haulmark Industries in Bristol, Indiana, Dutch Housing in LaGrange, Indiana and the Savory Restaurant in Sturgis.

She is survived by her Three Children; Vanessa, Jaiden and Jasmine, Parents; Harold and Eula Cornish of Three Rivers, One Brother; Harold Cornish, III of Three Rivers, One Sister; Kimberly (Tim) Combs of Speedwell, Tennessee, loving maternal grandmother; Esther Dodson of Sturgis, paternal grandfather; Harold Cornish, Sr. of Coldwater, One Niece; Heather Combs of Speedwell, Tennessee, Two Nephews; Cody Combs of Speedwell, Tennessee and Jimmy Combs of Mendon. Jaymie was also the God Mother of Heather Combs, Jimmy Combs and Tenisha Carswell.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; Claude Dodson and paternal grandmother; Loretta Cornish.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Jaymie Marie Cornish will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1111 Galyn Street in Sturgis.

The *Hackman Family Funeral Homes, Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis* is handling the arrangements.
