Not sure what to say?

I have taken some time to gather my thoughts about Jayne and Mike, who were friends from Colton days. Our class recently held it's 40-yr reunion and they were sorely missed. The news of Jayne's passing and Mike's earlier this year, both at such a young age, has saddened me deeply. I can hardy remember a time when I didn't know Jayne, and the memories run deep: Methodist Youth Choir, where mother Jane was the accompanist; junior high hi-jinks; high school student council, drill team, Girls...

I remember your Mom as a beautiful young girl as we went to High School together. I spent the night at her house once and forgot to bring a slip for my dress so she let me borrow hers. I never returned that slip and have thought of this experience through the years. Obviously, she was a very generous and forgiving person. Please know that your loss is being felt by others who are many miles away but she was not forgotten and was a influence even on those who you have never known. Class of...

Dear Kaney Family,

Jayne made such an impact in my life during the short time of our friendship. We had many giggles together and I learned a lot from her. She was a huge support and encouragement to me during some rough times. I will never forget her. God Bless Your Family! Jayne is dancin' with Jesus! Love, Judy Watkins

I was so sorry to hear of Jayne's passing. We grew up together in Colton. I remember us watching the Mickey Mouse Club at her house and coloring books with her huge set of crayons! She always had the neatest things and after playing at her house I would go home and tell my mother I had to have the same stuff!
My sympathies go out to her Mother and Father, brother and her children and also to the Kaney brothers-in-law.

We're so sorry for your loss. Jayne was such a lively spirit. We enjoyed working with her in 4-H. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Kaneys,
I am so sorry to read about Jayne's passing, especially so soon after your losing Mike. They were both great people and will be missed by many.

Dear Kaney Family,

We are so sorry to hear about Jayne. She and I sang in the girls' choir at the Methodist Church in Colton in elementary and junior high school along with Kathy Logan and a number of other girls. She was always one of the brightest and most giving girls. She had so much drive and desire to do for others. Even though I had not seen her for over 30 years her memory and many of Mike have stayed with me. I hope God will comfort you and help you during this difficult...

I learned to whistle thru my fingers at a sleepover at Jaynes in grade school. Think of her everytime I hear a whistle.
My deepest condolances to both the Rhine and Kaney families. She and your dad were wonderful people.

Dear Kaney Family
I had the opportunity to work for Jayne when I was 18, at "Bushel and a Peck". Some of you were small children at that time and some of you wern't born yet! Whenever I was in town I would run into her and catch up on all the kids. You have grown to be beautiful children and your mom was always so proud of your accomplishments. I will never forget her heartfelt smile and little gleam in her eye. I pray the Lord will comfort you at this time and give you strength as you...
