It's been too many years since I've seen Mrs Mayer. But my memory of her is of a beautiful and spirited woman who passed on those qualities to her daughter. My deepest sympathy to Cynthia and her father and brothers.

My first image of Jayne as she swooped into my dorm room at college to visit with her daughter, Cynthia, and me for Mom's week-end will remain in my heart forever.Her lovely warmth, style, beauty, grace and vibrancy were so evident as she explored my decorations and remarked on each interesting item. After she sized up my atmosphere, she turned to me and proceeded to focus with joy on finding out just who this friend of her daughter's was! I loved her instantly.
