COBBIN, Master Jayson Alex- age 11 passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 12:00 p.m. Family hour beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 1083 E. Stewart Ave. Flint, MI Moderator Lewis Randolph officiating. Mr. Cobbin will repose at Serenity Funeral Chapel on Tuesday January 1, 2012 and Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for public visitation. Words of expression and remarks from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday during visitaion at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505. Internment River Rest Cemetery Flint, MI.

Jayson Alex Cobbin was born on February 23, 2001 in Flint, MI the son of Alex Montreal Cobbin and Salena Edwards. Jayson was a beautiful bright eyed young man who attended Beecher Schools. Jayson loved to play football and had his own lemonade stand during the summer. Jayson adored his big sister Alexis, he also shared a special bond with his mother and father. Jason also had a fondness for his step-father Troy.

Jayson leaves to cherish his precious memories: father; Alex Cobbin, sisters; Alexis & Aaliyah Cobbin, brother; Alex Jr., step-brothers; Devonte Wheeler and Lavonte Moore, Montreal Walton, step-sisters; Tiara Wheeler and Latisha Moore. Grandparents; Roy Cobbin and Veatrice Bell, step-grandparents; Roy Reeves and Brenda Edwards, uncles; Denzell (Felicia) Alonzo, and James Cobbin, Delano and Johnnie Philpots, and Johnnie Caranza, Aunts; Angela Caranza, Dawn Cobbin, Kimberly Tomaszewki, Yulanda Ampy, Kim Caradine and Shanithia Edwards all of Flint, MI. Special cousin Jamar (Mar-Mar) Lewis, close friends; Cortney, Brandon, Ethan and Johnathan. Also a host of other cousins, friends and loved ones left to cherish young Jayson's memory. Jayson was proceeded in death by mother; Selena Edwards, grandparents; Peggy and Johnnie Carranza, step-grandfather: Andrew Shepard, cousins; Deontay Jackson and Tearis Pugh.
