Not sure what to say?

I can still remember the first time we met, the first time we had our coffee conversations, Jonathan and I's wedding day and our mother and daughter in law moment and the things you said and all the wonderful memories we shared, you are dearly missed and thought of more then you know. Mom and I were just talking the otherbday after we found some recipes that you had given her. This picture is still my all time favorite of you and Tony..

I know you are still shining down from Heaven watching over everyone, you are missed and loved beyond words. I reread the book you gave me and all if the words have much more meaning now. I miss you, I miss our talks and I miss just being able to pick up the phone and hear your voice. Keep shining, love you.... Marce

Dear Family, My name is Pamela Harkins. I am Jeans cousin. I always was much closer to Joan and June due to the age difference.

I am truly sorry for the loss of your Mother. Jean had a true presence about her, when she walked into a room she lite the room up with her smile and
her adorable dimples. Aunt Delores. was my God Mother, & I truly adored her.
Blessings Upon Your Family, Pamela Harkins

Jean hired me as the bookkeeper of First Congregatioal Church, my job there lasted 20 years. Over time Jean became a friend as well as my boss. She counseled me through a divorce. When inclement winter weather and night meetings at the Church occurred, my B&B was always a place where she was welcome. I will miss a true friend.

Jean was one of the first to welcome me to Vermont back in 1986. I treasured our partnership together in ministry and her friendship. Her life was a testament to faithfulness. May her family and communities she served find comfort through the love of the Holy One.

Jean and Tony

Love and will miss you very much, you were not just my mother in law but my friend and I was so blessed to have you in my life! Love you Mom Jean! This is still my favorite all time picture of you and Tony! I know you will be shining from Heaven!

Dear Ingrid, Kristin and Jonathan: Lenore and I were saddened to learn of Jean's death, but warmed by the memories of your family that the news brought back. We were privileged to be a part of your faith community.
A quick memory and tribute to Jean: She was a lady undaunted by the unexpected and incongruous; I saw this most clearly when I was her (unworthy!) "advisor" in preparation for her ordination. She would come to my woodworking shop behind the Vergennes manse and sit on a stool...

Jean welcomed me to Vermont, helped me in my ministry, always had a kind word and a smile, and preached with her life. Godspeed to you dear one.

Jean was a great support and friend to me when I was a new minister in the Vermont Conference. I will always be grateful for her warmth and thoughtful guidance.
