Lynn - Jean C. Bartlett, 92, born in Swampscott, passed away from natural causes on June 24, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born May 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Nicola and Angelina (Scotina) DeVecchis of Lynn, with her siblings the late Joseph DeVecchis, Rose Carey, and Ann Raper. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn, where she raised her children Arthur Lemaire, Roger Lemaire husband of Anna Lemaire, John Lemaire husband of Susan Lemaire, Rose Emerson, Jean Atkinson wife of Ronald Atkinson(deceased), and Frank McManus(deceased). She leaves behind eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and was full of love for those who went before her. She will be missed dearly.
Service Information: Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 2:00pm - 6:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Mass will be held the following morning at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, 26 Bessom Street, Lynn. Please meet directly at the church. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
