Jean N. Bialecki, 91, of Brick died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Meridian Health and Rehabilitation in Brick. She was born and raised in Newark, lived in Cranford for many years as well as in Manchester before moving to Brick 5 years ago. Jean was a member of the VFW Post # 335 Ladies Auxiliary in Cranford and also of Post # 10061 in Lakehurst. She attended St. John's RC Church in Lakehurst, was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed dancing the polka.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Matthew Adams; her second husband, Casmir and her brother, Frederick Oczkowski. Surviving are two sons, Gregory and his wife Mary Ann Adams of Toms River and Steven and his wife Lorraine Adams of Cream Ridge; two daughters, Carol and her husband Charles Capalbo of Brick and Diane Matano of Maywood; her brother, Charles Terenghi of Forked River; her sister, Mary Swider of Manchester; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy. 88, Brick. A funeral mass will be held Thursday 9:00 AM at St. Dominic's Church, Brick. Cremation will be private.
