Not sure what to say?

Jean was a special friend to us. You could talk to her about many things. On occasion she would go along to dinner, have lunch and even traveled with us like the CIA Culinary Institute of America, Norfolk,Va where she saw the Atlantic fleet and was taken aboard a destroyer and fast attack nuclear submarine along with Cindy Boyer Eckman. Cindy is also gone and she also is missed as well.

Now Jean may rest gently in the arms of God.

my deepest sympathy to the Bickel family, May Ms Bickel RIP. She was a great teacher I liked her and being in her class she taught me a lot about the library

Sincere sympathy to all the Bickel family. We were friends of Jean for over 45 years and the three of us spent our entire teaching careers in Jim Thorpe together. Jean was an extremely caring person, who thought the world of her family, especially her nieces. We certainly will miss her. Janet & LeRoy Skinner

Ken and family, sorry to hear about the passing of Jean. She was a good friend and will miss her. We took her to Norfolk when our son was in the navy and to the Culinary Institute in NY along with Cindy Boyer and we had a wonderful time. We also had the pleasure of your mom and dad as LHS teachers. May they all RIP

Ken, so sorry to hear of the passing of your sister Jean. Deb Mcgowan Class of 1970

Most sincere confolences to your family Jeannie.

May Jean rest in peace. She was a fellow classmate of mine. We reconnected on Facebook a couple of years ago. I will miss chatting with her. Thank you Jean for being a teacher.

Very sorry to hear... I have fond memories of her... Sending my thoughts to her family and friends.
