Winchendon/Clinton-Jean E. (Wood) Bilodeau, 90, died peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Gardner Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, George A. Bilodeau, Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, David Bilodeau & Ardythe, and Deborah Bernard & David; brother Lionel Lavoie & Susan; grandchildren Christopher, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Cassandra, and Francine; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She is predeceased by her son George A. Bilodeau, Jr., and sister Beatrice Pasierb.
Daughter of the late Cecil & Effie (Patten) Wood, Jean was born and raised in Clinton. She attended and studied at the public schools in Clinton, afterwards working at Colonial Press Inc. as a book binder. She was a proud member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish in Clinton. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests such as knitting, reading, Bingo, word search, watching Lifetime, and going to Foxwoods. Jean was also an avid New England sports fan, cheering on her teams, especially the Patriots. Above all she was happiest and cherished time spent in the company of her family and friends. She will forever be remembered and dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Calling hours will be held from 5 until 7PM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
