Jean Ward Bradshaw

Dear Don and Family,
What a wonderful woman Jean was! I was very fortunate to have grown up in the neighborhood with Jean and Don and your family and I have many fond memories of what a great blessing that was. It was always a real treat to see the Bradshaw family at Church and at Ward and neighborhood events.

We were further blessed to live very close to them when we moved back into the neighborhood after coming back to Salt Lake City in the early 2000's.

I remember working with her at Holy Cross hospital. She was a great role model, very elegant and a beautiful smile. My condolences to her family.

When I knocked on the Bradshaw's door in their new house on 9th South asking if I could be their babysitter, Jean was incredibly gracious to this young teenager. She suggested I spend some time with their two young boys while she was at home to see how it went. I passed the audition and the Bradshaw family became an important part of my life for the next decade. Now, a great grandmother myself, I still often think of how much she quietly influenced me, and how grateful I was for her...
