Not sure what to say?

Jean was one of my teachers at Shasta College and I later got to know him at Bethel Church. In all cases I remember him as a fine man always ready to help and encourage any way he could. To the family, our condolences and prayers are with you now concerning the passing of this gracious man.
Sincerely,

My wife, Doris, and I both worked with Jean at Shasta College. In fact, Virginia Chapell and I hired Jean. The campus TV station and program - that he was to coordinate - never developed, because of financial limitations. Jean moved into our speech and English departments. He was always pleasant, courteous, and professional. He continuously kept alert to new developments and innovations in his disciplines. And, he enjoyed his students and worked well with the administration and faculty.

We are saddened by Jean’s passing and wish to acknowledge all the wonderful and generous work Jean did in making the DVD’s for the annual Multi-cultural Celebration. All of us who helped to make the Multi-cultural Celebration a possibility appreciated his enthusiasm and support of this community event. The last time we spoke with him he said he planned to bring his grandson to the 2010 Celebration. We still look forward to seeing his grandson. We will miss Jean.

We remember Jean with such pleasant memories and laughter. We will miss his smiling face and greeting of hugs. Until we meet again.
