JEAN A. CLARK (nee Gorman), age 98, beloved wife of the late John; sister of the late Janet Gorman; and daughter of the late Belle (nee Johnston) and Albert Gorman. Jean was known for her poetry, often sharing it with many dear friends and was the poet laureate of her church. During WWII, she commanded the only female squadron in the Civil Air Patrol. She owned and operated the family steel die engraving business in Cleveland. Jean was an active member of West Park United Church of Christ since childhood. Passed away April 30, 2021. Memorial Service Monday, May 10, 7:00 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, where friends may call MONDAY 6 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE. Please follow all Covid-19 safety guidelines. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jean requested memorial gifts to West Park United Church of Christ, 3909 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, Oh 44111 or Malachi House, 2810 Clinton Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.

She was a wonderful person. She was so kind and I told her I hoped I could live up to the way she dealt with not driving etc so well. She was so wonderful that no one could possibly surpass her. I love you my friend and heaven now has another ANGEL!!!!!
