Jean Marie Compton

I was sad to hear about Jean´s passing and send my heartfelt condolences to Dain - he was truly the love of her life and they shared so many happy times. I have many cousins since we come from the large Bankhead family, but Jean was a very special cousin to me - our lives were intertwined because her mother, Margaret, was always close with her sister, June, who was my mother. Jean was very talented and a truly unique personality that we all loved. I will miss her and the stories she loved...

Jean was a part of my "extra family" . Her aunt June Garner and husband James were my mom and dad´s best friends (and much more) since before the kids in both families were born. I ALWAYS enjoyed time spent with Jean and will miss her company. I send sympathy to Dain; he and Jean´s life together was truly a love story.
