I knew Jean over the many years she visited her son Jim and his family-wife Cathy and daughters Erin and Bridget here in San Diego. There was always a big fuss when Jean and Ken came to town and by fuss I mean lovely dinner parties , BBQ's, family gatherings which I was privileged to attend. In the middle of it all dressed in brilliant colors with lots of style was Jean, holding court with all of us loving being in her presence. She had flair and personality to spare. She was a roll model...
