Not sure what to say?

On Monday, Jean's grandmother Jean Birney Doyle passed away just shy of her 102nd birthday.

Grandma Doyle was a devout Irish Catholic with 12 children. She encouraged her progeny to marry in the Church as well as baptize their children.

She knew that a world existed outside of Catholicism. The moment that I will never forget is once when she was asking me about my religious beliefs. She then asks "Will you pray for me?"

The Thinking of You Bouquet by FTD - CUT GLASS VASE INCLUDED

We Lost an Amazing woman; I admired, respected and was in awe of everything she represented and taught us. Her compassion, understanding and intelligence inspired me to became a Social Worker, to which she was very happy about. She was a towering part of my life and I will miss her dearly. Until we see each other again on the other side grandma, I love you.

FTD® Wondrous Nature™ Bouquet

Mrs. Doyle was the most amazing "angel of the neighborhood." Despite the fact that she had 12 children of her own to watch over, she keenly knew the instant when a child had fallen off of their bicycle or was bitten by a stray dog and was immediately by that child's side, soothing them with loving words. I'll never forget the way Mrs. Doyle welcomed children into her house and made us all feel comfortable by caring about what was going on in our lives. A truly wonderful woman!

Sincere condolences to the Doyle family in Jean's passing. What a remarkable life she lived. We knew the family from the St. Andrew school years. Prayers, sympathy and love from the 12 Alexander kids and their Mom, Helen.

Mrs. Doyle was truly a lovely person to know. My heart goes out to the Doyle family.

I have never met Mrs. Doyle but Sarah has shared some wonderful stories about her mom. My sympathy and prayers are with you, Sarah, and to your family.

I was so sorry to hear of mrs. Jeans passing, I'm the girl who lived in the old farmhouse in Lowell, I remember her as such a sweet little woman. She didn't come much with your dad so I knew him better, but they are both and important memory from my childhood.
