Jean was a very dear friend of my mother Helen Jeney for many years through St. Therese Church, and along with Sophie Tessmer formed what I remember as a high point of my mother's life. My Mom loved Jean like a sister and always was excited to see her. Jean was always kind to me and referred to me as "Joey" when she saw me just as my parents did.
