Not sure what to say?

I have a memory of meeting Jean at St. Conrad's Friary here in Lawrence. It must have been 30 years ago. I knocked on the door and very shortly thereafter, who else but Jean, answered the door with a spatula in her hand. She had been preparing supper for the friars. Jean and her family were wonderful Tennessee Street neighbors in the previous millennium. We always remember Jean´s thoughtfulness, concern, enthusiasm, energy, laughter and smiles, just as this photo shows. Our hearts go out to Ray and the four children.

My children remember Jean with her interactions with them in...

Single Memorial Tree

Jean was such a lovely warm person. I belong to the Secular Franciscan fraternity in Emporia and we were welcomed by hers in Lawrence. She was their Formation Director when I first met her and she wowed me with her offerings. May she rest in peace

A truly wonderful person. Always ready to lend a helping hand. Personally, she was encouraging to me and made it possible for me to complete work on an extremely important project. Always grateful for her generosity and dedication.

I served their nuptial Mass in Wichita. Married when Jean was 20 and just heard of this in Gallup, NM today. Many Blessings for Ray and Jean...Rf
