Jean Frazer Jean Frazer, 85 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Sunday morning, January 18, 2015, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care. Jean was born January 16, 1930 in Pollock, MO, to Artie and Ferne (Kinton) Morlan. On August 6, 1950 she married Harold Frazer in Milan, he preceded her in death on October 23, 2007. Survivors include: three daughters, Patricia Brundage and husband Eddie of Unionville, MO, Peggy Albertson and husband Tom of Green City, MO, and Paula Frazer of Smithville, MO; 5 grandchildren, Greg Hepler and wife Ann, Bart Albertson and wife Melissa, Beau Hepler and wife Lori, Bret Albertson, and Brooke Henders and husband Robin; 2 step grandchildren, Brenda Fowler and husband Chris and Reggie Brundage and wife Britney; 8 great grandchildren, Gabriel Hepler, Zachary Hepler, Kaitlyn Hepler, Gus Albertson, Kate Albertson, Ty Hepler, Camryn Henders, and Sydney Henders; 8 step great grandchildren, Teagan, Traeten, Tyson, Taylor, Bailey, Torqe, Reise, and Traylen; 4 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Emerson and husband John, Mary Anthony, Waneta Frazer, and Barbara Hostetter and husband Gary; and several nieces including Beverly Clark and husband Jim, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; one sister and brother-in-law, Neva Lemen and husband John; nephew, Terry Lemen; niece, Janet Hostetter, and sister-in-law, Corrine Young. Jean attended Lemons High School, and graduated from Milan High School in 1947. Jean taught in several rural schools in Sullivan County, later teaching in both Green City and Milan schools before retiring in 1996. She lived on the farm, east of Milan with Harold for 49 years before retiring and moving to Kirksville in 1999. Jean was a charter member of the Gamma chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, and was a member of the Milan Church of Christ, later transferring her membership to the Central Church of Christ in Kirksville. Jean was a loving mother to her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Jean will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, east of Milan. A visitation is scheduled for 2 hours before the funeral, starting at 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care activity fund.
