Gillette, Jean Woods Born April 22, 1923 in East Orange, NJ. Died July 1, 2007 in Roseville, MN. Preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Anne and William Munro. Survived by nephew and nieces, Douglas, Vicky and Maggie Munro, great niece and nephews, Meg, Colin and Ian, many of her beloved cats and a legion of dear friends. Jean attended Oberlin College and was in the WAC during WWII after which she enjoyed a long career working at the New York Post. Jean was well known for her sense of humor and compassion. She gave generously of herself to those in need. Jean never met a cat she didn't love, and opened her doors to many of them over the years. She loved summers at the cabin, the theater, chocolate anything, liberal causes, Alan Alda, and most of all, her family and all animals (except spiders). Thank you to the staff at Lake Ridge Health Care Center for their care, and to Pam and Darla of SE Seniors. A gathering to remember Jean will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to Feline Rescue, Inc. (www.felinerescue.org)
