Dear Gottlieb family -- I learned of the death of your dear mother Jean yesterday (Feb 14) and immediately looked up her obituary. What a remarkable woman -- definitely part of 'the greatest generation' the USA has ever produced (as was her husband Harry). We shall not see their like again! My family, Bob & Edie Daly and their 8 children, lived two doors down from the Gottliebs who had 6 children. The large number of children in the family was actually fairly typical in those days....

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

My condolences to her family. Jean and Harry were always warm and friendly, whether it was on 50th St. or hosting in Ft. Myers Beach. I know you all have a lot of happy memories. Joan Meltzer FitzGibbon

Heartfelt condolences to Jean's family. With love, Susan, Mark, Jenna, Liza and Grant Paley
