Not sure what to say?

Jean was a bright, creative, and dedicated educator and administrator. She was an exceptional human being with compassion for everyone and a great sense of humor. It was always a pleasure to work with her and just spend time chatting. She has had a tremendous positive impact on students, staff and colleagues during her lifetime and we will miss her ready smile and optimistic, "can do" attitude.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the family and friends. Thank you Jean for your continued support to the community and for all your service to the Saginaw Public School System. She was a great role model for many Saginaw Teachers. She brought inspiration to Education. Thank you so much. Rest In Peace.

I had the honor and privilege of working with Jean during our time on the READ Board...what a wonderful and caring person...Judge TLC

I had the pleasure and the honor of working with Jean for many years with Saginaw City Schools. She was a consummate professional administrator and a kind and caring person. We will miss her laugh, her kindness, and her great sense of humor. She touched countless lives: students, friends, family, and colleagues. The world was better because Jean Grey was here and her influence will live on for generations.

She was a wonderful, caring person. She with my mother June Wagner would give out sandwiches through the window of St Paul's Episcopal Church every week for so many years I lost count. She was so active in the church doing what she could . She will be missed.

To Jean's family and friends,

I was first introduced to Jean through Lois Herbage. Jean was always so gracious and warm when I ran into her in the community and at community events.

My sincere condolences--may special memories of Jean comfort you at this time.

Best math teacher I ever had. So smart, so caring, had high expectations for all of us. She was a teacher that made you want to meet those expectations.

Jean gave generously of her time, talents, and treasure to many groups in Saginaw. She was always helping people, giving them rides, running errands for those who couldn't, and handing out lunches to the homeless at her church, St. Paul's Episcopal. She always encouraged me in my research, writing, and publishing of Saginaw history. She was so proud of her friend Kittie Lewis' book and extremely happy that I published it. She had the book along with her favorite books next to her sofa so she...
