My deepest condolences to the family. I grew up in Madison WI knowing both Jean & Harry. They were very good friends of my family, Iwao & Mae Hara. I have many fond memories of both Harry & Jean and am very saddened to learn of her recent passing. I will always have many happy memories of Jean, my parents & growing up in the First United Methodist Church in Madison

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

Jean, you and I were friends for years. You took me to your political meetings all over Florida, we went to lunch, dinner at least a couple of weeks. I met you at the First United Methodist Church of Largo, and became friends from the first meeting. I will always our fun times together and will miss you very much. You are with God now and are at peace. God Bless you. Your friend, Nan

Jean Halvorsen was truly a good and faithful servant; a servant of our Lord and a servant of the citizens of the City of Largo. She will be greatly missed.
