Not sure what to say?

To the Family,
I knew Jean and worked closely with her in a short time around ten years ago. I got to know her through her youth program in Englewood, IL where she was a strong and brilliant youth program organizer. I was involved with Youth Communication and she was with "IF". She had a lot of futuristic ideas for Englewood and the young people there. She was amazing. I did not know she had passed until recently. God bless you all.

Dear LaShaundra and Family,
Ms. Hill was a wonderful person. I know that because I know you. I know your sweet spirit and your love of working with children. Ms. Hill worked as an advocate for children and developed an organization to improve the issues in her community. She lived a life that affected the rich history of her family and community in a positive way. God has blessed her to be in His presence for eternity. Cherish the beautiful memories you had with her, knowing you...

It was an honor and privilege to work with Jean on the Chicago Lead Safe Task Force. She was very protective of her Englewood neighborhood and so caring for the children. May she rest-in-peace.

Dear Family, sincere condolences! I am deeply saddened by the news of Jean's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. As Jean's first cousin, I am not only mourning her passing but I am also mourning the loss of not having had the opportunity to know her better. Love, Carlene & Family

I've known Mrs. Jean Hill since I was 3 years old, she was a close friend but also like an Aunt to me. I remember everything she taught me, and when I was bad she'd be the first to let me know. Mrs. Jean was an extraordinary woman, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. A woman who inspired and who will be truly missed by all. May she continue to rest in heaven.

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of Ms. Jean Carter Hill. Her impact on the community was such a bright shining light. May she rest in peace, knowing how loved and valued she was, knowing that she truly changed lives. She will be missed.

Sincerely,

Elois, I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your sister Jean. My heart is with you and it is heavy as I struggle to find some words that may give you comfort at this difficult time. I pray that as a Christian you will find solace in knowing that death is the only door to eternal life. Your sister labored hard in the service of others and has now passed through the only door that provides a pathway to life eternal. Without question Jean was an enormous presence in her beloved...
