Jean Putnam Johnson

Jean and I walked together almost daily in Pebble Creek. It was wonderful to come to know Jean in a deeper way, hearing of her life and travels with Skip. She told me about having a tornado go through their back yard -- maybe in Louisiana?? She was always ready with a cup of coffee and a baked treat at her kitchen table or on the patio sitting on Skip's prayer bench. She had the gift of hospitality. I have moved away from College Station but knowing she is no longer there saddens me. ...
