Not sure what to say?

Wonderful Support and very efficient She supported me when I was admitted with a serious health problem. I had to leave school for two years but she made sure I was able to return and complete my J.D.

Ms. Jury was one of the first people I met as a young law student at SMU Law school and she worked with me so my schedule would allow me to teach at SMU while attending law school. She was kind and competent, truly a role model for all aspiring professionals. What a grand lady!

Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of Mrs. Jury. She is the reason I was admitted to and graduated from SMU Law.

I was a law student in the JD/MBA at SMU from 1974-1978 and Jean Jury was the person I admired most. Mrs. Jury was always professional and constantly striving to help every person. I learned a great deal from Mrs. Jury, mourn her death, and hope that her memory will give you strength.

I was on the SMU law faculty from 1970--1981. Jean was a good friend, to me and to my young family. I last saw here at Larrain Emery's funeral. Jean was a lady with a backbone of steel. I will truly miss her.

I worked with Jean Jury for about 10 years at the law school. She was always kind and considerate to us secretaries. She did an admirable job as law school admissions head.

My deepest sympathies to Jean's loved ones. I attended SMU Law School from 1967 to my graduation in 1970 as one of only 5 women in a huge class of men. During my three years Jean was the absolute Go-To Person for all school-functioning related questions a student might have, be they how to navigate halls, or courses, or professor personalities! I remember her as an incredibly kind and knowledgeable problem-solver, someone who seemed truly dedicated to easing a new student's "way through the...
