Jean Ann Christman Kalberer

Jean, you and Walt were my guardian angels when I was at CPH. You always made me feel supported and cared for. I am forever grateful for your generosity of spirit and our time together. Rest in Peace.

Jean was an amazing, inspirational leader of the Fairmount Church Deacons back in the 1990’s, and I am so glad to have been privy to her ideas about how to embody the highest ideals in every day life. Later, at CWRU law school functions, she would invariably ask the most probing questions in the most charming way. She was unique and irreplaceable.

Jean was a beautiful person. She always had a smile on her face and a positive outlook on everything. We always had fun with Jean when we were together. We will keep our memories of Jean in our hearts forever. We send our heartfelt sympathy to Walt, Gwenn, Lori, Christa, Lisa and the grandchildren.

While reading about arrangements for a friend's mom I learned Jean passed away. I went to school with Lori but later got to know the Kalberers through their generosity and philanthropy. Much of my career has been in development for non profits in Cleveland and know of what has been accomplished by their family. Thank you for everything you have done. Peace to everyone in the family.
