Jean Toshie Kohashi

So sorry to hear of Jean's passing! She was a great friend to me while I was stationed at Hickam AFB from 1994-1998. I was the Health Promotion Manager and ran the Health and Wellness Center on the base. Jean did a lot of her reserve time helping in our clinic. I remember Kuro´s mom, Jean, as the person I could catch up on what´s going on in the neighborhood. Never mind the neighborhood is a two mile loop of houses and people. She had the ability to talk with everyone comfortably. I miss her and want ro extend my deepest sympathy to her husband.

I´ve known her as my neighbor. Maybe we weren´t friendly but there was a time she knew how much I cared about my fishes in a pond next to her property and she made every attempt to block them from debris by placing a yoga mat along the chain link fence. I will never forget her kind gesture. I know my dogs barking were annoying but they are the eyes and years for all of us. My apologies.
