Not sure what to say?

It was with great sadness that Areg and I learned of Jean death just last Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006. Jean was a lovely person and a great neighbor when we lived on Woodbine Street. I always looked forward to February when She and John hosted the yearly neighborhood block party. Our thoughts and prayers are with John and his family during this time of sorrow.

Sincerely,

Areg and Graciela Mangassarian

My heartfelt sympathies go out to all those who will feel the loss of Jean in their lives. Especially to you John and your family. Jean was a very loving and giving person. She genuinely cared and gave of herself to family, friends and our community. I loved her as a dear friend and will greatly miss her.

Meg and I were very saddened to hear of Jean's death. She was a great friend to the Stewart family, and we have many happy memories of Jean over many, many years. Our best wishes to John and Jean's siblings, children and grandchildren.

We just knew Jean for a brief period of time through our association with John in the Barbershop Harmony Society. We enjoyed listening to the stories about their extensive travels, and we could see what a loving, devoted couple they were. Our prayers and thoughts are with John and his family.

Mrs. Linehan was a very unique women. She has been in my life since I was a baby. I will cherish all of the momories that she and her family gave to me. There are so many years of memory within me that I will always have a place in my heart for her. Denny, Mary & Peter my heart goes out to you. I will miss the wild and crazy stories that my parents would convey to me about your parents once I was an adult. Mr. Linehan, our hearts and prayers are with you. Love, Jennifer (Connell) & Rod Wire.

Jean Linehan was a pioneer in the work/life balance movement. She was my mentor and friend. I met Jean while working at BNA. She introduced me to the Metropolitan Washington Work/Life Coalition where I continue to serve as board member. She made a significant impact on my life and I will always hold her in a special place in my heart.
