Not sure what to say?

To Jean's family. I am so sad and shocked to read of her passing. She and I worked together in Amarillo at WBU. We stayed in touch and the last time we spoke she was feeling better than she had in a while. We would go long periods of time between calls but time had gotten away from us. It doesn't seem like a year. She was a strong little Lady that adored her family. I will miss her dearly. Our prayers are with you.

Dorothy, I may have waited too long to post this, but Mary got your message. Thanks for letting us know. I tried both of Jean's numbers to no avail and didn't remember your last name to see if Google knows you. And the survivors were not mentioned in the obit. I do have a memory that happened back when we were all young, Mike was not walking yet. I'm so sorry to hear of Jeans passing.Such a sweet lady. Got to know her when she lived in Plainview. She worked at WBU & I worked at the Post Office.

I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I worked with Jean in the alumni office when I was a student at Wayland back in 92-94. Even though she was serious about our work, we shared a lot of fun and laughs and I have the pictures to prove it! Every time I sort my mail, I hear Jean's voice telling me the most efficient way to handle paperwork. I imagine her cringing at my inefficiency and saying "handle each paper only once!" Jean will always hold a very very special place in my heart.
