Jean Ann Lund

Jean Ann Lund was born March 13, 1936 in Ringsted, Iowa: the daughter of Arnold P. and Hazel Marie (Christiansen) Lund. She received her Masters Degree in Literature and Linguistics from the University of Delaware. On March 15, 1986, Jean was united in marriage to Harold Wohl in Waterloo. She retired in 1991 from the University of Northern Iowa, where she was an English Instructor. Jean was also a member of the Peace Corps. Jean passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Sartori Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother John Scott Lund. Jean is survived by her husband Harold Wohl of Cedar Falls; a son Thomas Lee (Tina) Anderson of Superior, Wisconsin; a granddaughter Jenny (John) Degalleford of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 4 great-grandsons: Connor, Chase, John and Jackson; 1 sister Janet (William) Johnson of College Station, Texas and a nephew, who she raised, Justin (Nicole) Lund of Seattle, Washington. Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
