I have many fond memories of Jeannie. I will treasure them til we meet again.

Our family has been blessed by knowing musical Mrs Martin. Blessings to Mel and children and grandchildren. Music enhanced our children's lives and community and our family with her expert training and fabulous training for love of teaching.

What an amazing woman and a loss to our mortal world! My wife and I had the privilege of harvesting enumerable memories of many mighty musical miracles. I accompanied the stake choir in Springfield IL while she conducted it. What a talent! She learned the universal language down on earth and taught many (maybe thousands?). Jean was certainly a reflection of the Savior's light. It was impossible not to love her. I remember when Mel was trying to choreograph a date with her in his mind as we watched a movie. He'd say " and this is where I'll take her hand." A perfect match. Much love, sympathy, and prayers for the family.
