It's hard to believe Jean is gone. Jan and I met her during our walks through the neighborhood, and came to know her through conversations during those walks. I especially enjoyed hearing about her background in Tennessee, since I have remote ancestors that lived in that state. She very kindly shared her New York Times with us until we got our own subscription. Every year she brought a flower from her lovely magnolia.
