Jean Wright Morse

Jean was a younger cousin of my mother. I went to her wedding to Howard when I was about 12 years old. It was a lovely wedding! Jean along with Bill and Betsy came to visit us in our Bay View, MI cottage in more recent years. She enjoyed seeing our Chautauqua as Chautauqua, NY held a special place in her heart along with the Lakeside one in Ohio where the family rented a cottage every summer. Jean was one of the most optimistic people I have ever know...a real inspiration to live life...

Jean was a wonderful mentor to me as a teaching assistant working as a reading teacher at Fredonia Elementary. Her smile brightened the day for students and faculty. She was a good friend! There is a new resident in heaven. Judy Crane Wilcox
