Tom, Carol and Karen and families,
We enjoyed Jean's zest for life, her strength and even her strong opinions, which we sometimes disagreed with.
This year in Molokai I told her she was an inspiration for aging gracefully. She pooh-poohed it but I think she liked hearing it!
Our thoughts are with you all.

Your passing came as a shock to all of us and I figure you came into this world on your terms and you were leaving on your terms. You are and will always be a very special person in my heart. I sure am going to miss your famous ginger bread men. Thank you for letting me call you grandma.
