Not sure what to say?

Memories of Guide Patrol with Sister Perry as my teacher were rekindled earlier this month by her very brother-in-law, Elder Perry, and his account of graduating from Primary. Jean Perry is directly tied to my being able to recite the Articles of Faith (even though, in our class' case, the police weren't called). I continued to feel her best wishes and respect and I know she was an important friend to my parents all these years. Thank you, Bishop Perry, for all you and your family have shared...

Dear Brother Perry,
We send our condolences to you and your family. we remember fondly your days as our home teacher and the days when I served as your home teacher. We are now serving a mission in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission as full time missionaries and will be unable to attend the services. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Jean will always be in our thoughts for her example and service both her and her husband gave to us. They were our faithful home teachers for years and great examples to our children and family. We love and admire them both

Dear Ted and family,

Our hearts and prayers go with you during this sacred time of your loss. We have been greatly blessed to have Jean and you in our ward during this last year. Your example of loving care to your wife Jean will be remembered by all. It has been an honor for the Bishopric to visit Jean and you in your home. To hear of your lives and testimonies has strengthen and enriched our ward. May God bless and comfort you during this new season of your life. We love and pray...

To Brother Ted and family. Our sincere condolences on your loss. We have so often been blessed and instructed by your example, service, and teaching. May you find comfort and joy in the legacy the Perry's have given, not only to your family, but to all of us in the old Ninth Ward and beyond.

To Bishop Perry and your family,

We hope there's a home waiting for us on a Second East in Heaven, right across from your mansion. Sister Perry and you made keeping The Second Commandment easy.

We appreciate the countless ways you each demonstrated so much kindness and patience and generosity.

We will be forever thankful for your wonderful example and our many happy memories.

With great fondness and respect,
The Paul and Beth Christensen Family
