To the Ring Family

I am deeply saddened to learn of Charlie's passing.

I have many great memories of our boyhood days growing up in Arnprior. We competed against one another in the half-mile saddle horse races at the Arnprior Fair, with Charlie always finishing first with his speedy brown mare. They were unbeatable.

Charlie was an avid horseman and truly enjoyed campaigning his Valley-bred pacer "Ottawa" at the local tracks. When the big bay pacer retired...

To The Ring Family...
Our deepest sympathies on Charlie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. While we never met Charlie, we've come to know him through many conversations over hundreds of rounds of golf we shared with his sons who were so very proud of him. I know that his story and his character will live on in the hearts and minds of all those that he's touched. God rest his soul.

Lucile and family ..

It was with great sadness learning of Charlies passing. We will miss meeting at Calabogie Lake with cousins and friends. We knew Charlie was suffering but could be counted on to have a smile and a good story about growing up in Arnprior and spending a lifetime in Canada's military. Peace, prayers and blessings. Al Perfitt.

If apples don't stray too far from the tree, Charlie must have been quite the man.

To the Ring Family,

Please accept my condolences on Charlie’s passing. I served with him in Petawawa, Kingston and Carp.

He was a great friend, a good person and foremost a dedicated soldier. The likes of him do not come along everyday.

May he rest in peace. God bless his soul.
