Not sure what to say?

I worked at the Pampered Pantry when Jean Pierre began to teach cooking classes. The days he was there the whole place bustled and everyone was in a party mood listening to Jean Pierre´s stories and learning to make his chosen dishes. Jean Pierre didn´t miss anyone with his magnetic personality and his artistic approach to cooking. He was a true artist.

I just discovered the passing of Jean-Pierre. About 40 years ago my wife and I were invited to a private dinner prepared by Jean-Pierre at the private home of a Mark Twain Bank trust officer. It was a dining experience of a lifetime that I'll always cherish. In addition to the great meal, meeting this wonderful man and hearing his fascinating stories was truly an added bonus. RIP Jean-Pierre.

Your great and memorable cooking lessons and delightful stories of your days in Paris back in the days in Clayton are still in my memory of you. May you RIP Jean Pierre.

Jean-Pierre was a great talent, storyteller, family man and friend. He made so many occasions incredibly special for our family. He always talked about Sophie, Tom and especially his grandsons with love, pride and joy. We will raise a glass of wine to him and think about him dancing in heaven with his Paulette.

Sophie and Tom, Alex and Maria and Christopher- There are not enough words to describe the joy and laughter that your Dad and Mom brought to my life. Memories of our families together fill my heart and bring peace to the sorrow I feel for you. Your parents have been reunited in Heaven and the pain is no longer theirs. I will always treasure our shared memories- know that the family they created with my parents is a bond as strong or stronger than one created by birth. May you all continue to...

I had the wonderful opportunity to know Jean-Pierre at Mark Twain Banks over a few years and not only did he provide great meals but he could be very funny as well. Bon soir, mon ami!

Condolences to all family and friends of Chef: as I recall indelible memories of Chef Auge' visiting The Kitchen Conservatory in Clayton, Missouri! He shared his talents and knowledge with great generosity and skill. The sheer abundance of superb dishes offered at class over many years along with his energy and bubbling personality was amazing! Thank you, Chef Auge' for your contributions!

One of the great Chefs in St.Louis History. RIP Jean Pierre.
