Jean Ridenbaugh

Jean was my mother Eleanor Bardwell- Smith's best friend while they grew up on the beach in Santa Cruz. I'm Steve her son and we live in a different state. Just found out of her passing. She was the sweetest warmest person. I'm sorry for your loss ! My mother died of cancer in 1995.

How can I describe my friend Gene! She loved life and in her long life she completed not just one but two bucket list. In her 90s she took a hot air balloon ride over Napa up in Northern California. It was a delight to hear her describe that adventure along with so many other stories she had to share through the years. I´m sure many other friends could share delightful times with her as well.
