Jean has been my dear friend for the last 7 years and I have come to love her as a sister. We shared a lot of wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. We will miss her on the porch here in Aiken. My deepest sympathy to everyone who loved Jean.
Sincerely,

Jean Riles was one of the finest individuals whom I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It was my privilege to work with Jean for about a dozen years at Holmes & Thomson law firm, and she always commanded the respect and admiration of all who knew her. A very kind person who took great pride in her work, Jean set a very high standard for all to follow. At the same time she was a caring and compassionate friend. I feel blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family...
