Jean Rix

To Doug and Susan and Ron ... Bill and I have so many memories, and yes, they go all the way back to high school. But we are also fortunate to have some incredibly special ones since then, as your mom was at every major event in our lives. From being at our wedding to playing at our son's. We ran into each other often, and we always just took off where we left off. She was a great friend to us and we will miss her. It's the many great memories of your mom that are some of our most precious....

To the family of Jean Rix: I was a student of Jean's for a number of years and enjoyed those lessons immensely. She had a great influence on music in my life. I also had the pleasure of her music for my wedding. I saw her on and off over the years after I left Olds and she always took time to visit with me. I will miss her.

My beloved Mrs. Rix....you will be missed. This lady was a great influence in my life during the years she taught me piano....I will remember her fondly. And I will remember Mitzi the dog, falling down the stairs during my lessons and I will remember her great big grand piano in her basement - she was so proud of it! And the recitals......and the talks we would have about life.....what an amazing lady! Looking forward to playing piano with you in heaven.
