Dear Johnny and Sandy, Al and I are so very saddened by the passing of your Mom. Sally just emailed us... Jean was such an endearing person. What wonderful adventures we Blisses had at your farm as kids; in your pool and romping in the nearby hayfields with the cows. Our parents also enjoyed many good times together. Your mom has been the keeper of so many good memories all of these years. Al and I live in Pennsylvania now, no longer New England, but we send so much love to you both along...

I had the pleasure of knowing Jean, and in the days before the computer, I proofread and typed her autobiography. She was a lovely lady who appreciated and loved life, as can be witnessed by her obituary. She set a great example for the rest of us.
